One myth. One moment. One thing the Greeks actually said.

Every episode opens in the middle of a Greek myth's most famous moment and sets it straight with something the Greeks themselves wrote that the retellings left out. A dry narrator tells it, the hero answers back, and a chorus of three paper masks pops up with opinions. Paper collage in the colours of a Greek vase: terracotta, black, cream and a little gold.

Meet the chorus

  • The Chorus

Three paper theatre masks on sticks: Tragedy, Comedy and Astonishment. They rise from the bottom of the frame, speak as one, and have never once been asked.

  • The Narrator

Dry, precise, and amused by the facts. Has read the original Greek and would like you to know it.
