Curiosity Killed the Cat
A noir detective cat who cannot leave anything alone, and where "curiosity killed the cat" comes from.
The cat is fine.
The oldest version, in Ben Jonson's 1598 play, is "care'll kill a cat," and care meant worry. Curiosity took over in the 1800s, and in 1912 a newspaper added "but satisfaction brought it back."
